This role serves as a primary point of contact for POS-related support menu programming system configuration and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Micros Simphony and a strong understanding of restaurant operations menu management and technology position works closely with Operations IT and Restaurant Teams to ensure POS systems are accurate reliable and aligned with business ResponsibilitiesPOS Support & TroubleshootingProvide day-to-day support for Micros Simphony POS systems across multiple restaurant and resolve POS hardware software and complex technical issues to vendors IT teams or third-party support providers as support requests and ensure timely resolution of POS system documentation and support Programming & MaintenanceConfigure and maintain menu items PLUs major groups family groups modifiers combo meals pricing and promotions within menu rollouts seasonal promotions and limited time pricing accuracy and system functionality before testing and quality assurance for programming menu updates across multiple brands and Configuration & AdministrationManage Simphony user accounts permissions and security reporting revenue centers employee roles and operational system standards and governance across all in POS upgrades migrations and system & User SupportProvide ongoing support to restaurant with onboarding new best practices for POS usage and data SupportSupport new restaurant openings acquisitions and remodel in POS-related initiatives testing and system operational requirements and recommend process with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and reduce operational & Data IntegrityAssist in validating sales reporting menu data and operational discrepancies related to menu programming and POS integration testing with loyalty gift card online ordering and third-party delivery supporting Point of Sale systems in a restaurant hospitality or retail with menu programming pricing maintenance and POS troubleshooting and problem-solving communication and customer service to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced attention to detail and organizational with Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Oracle Micros supporting multi-unit restaurant of restaurant workflows menu management and operational with POS integrations online ordering platforms loyalty systems or payment understanding of networking hardware and peripheral participating in system implementation or upgrading ConditionsOccasional after-hours or weekend support during menu launches system updates or restaurant to travel periodically to restaurant locations for training and or office-based work environment depending on company of resume does not guarantee an interview or transfer.
