Overview:

The Métis Financial Corporation of B.C. (MFCBC) is seeking a detail-oriented office administrator to join our growing team and organization in Kelowna. The First Time Home Buyer Program (FTHBP) is a housing program the MFCBC offers to Métis Citizens in British Columbia to assist with the down payment for first time home buyers. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities :

-First point of contact for the program-Handling phone and email inquiries-Provide excellent customer service to clients-Sending out and processing incoming FTHB applications-Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation-Maintain organized and up-to-date FTHB client files in SharePoint and FERN-Maintain FTHB tracking sheet-Coordinate with loans officer to ensure timely processing of grants-Dispersing grants in FERN-Maintaining client confidentiality-Reporting progress of the program to the General Manager-Compile and process annual FTHB report for shareholders-Assisting other departments with duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

-A minimum of 2 years' work-related experience-Strong communication skills-Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task with accuracy and within deadlines.-Ability to prioritize and manage time/tasks with attention to detail.-Willingness to learn new programs or company procedures-Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team-Computer literacy on the Microsoft Office package is necessary-Demonstrated excellent phone etiquette-Ability to handle high volume client inquiries-Friendly and positive attitude-Ambitious and Intuitive

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
