Business Analyst for Credit Risk Migration

Enhance your career as a Business Analyst in the SAS to PySpark migration project based in Toronto, Ontario. This hands-on, analytical role combines business analysis with QA testing in a hybrid format. We invite applications for a Business Analyst responsible for a key migration initiative in credit risk management. This 5-month role includes analyzing existing SAS processes, converting them into PySpark requirements, and validating results through rigorous testing. Your interaction with cross-functional teams will ensure successful translations and data integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Document and analyze business requirements from legacy SAS systems
- Interpret and assist in the translation of SAS logic to PySpark
- Collaborate with development teams and project managers for project success
- Design and execute detailed QA/UAT test plans
- Validate migration outputs with legacy SAS benchmarks
- 3+ years of Business Analysis in financial services
- Ability to interpret SAS code and data transformation logics
- Strong analytical skills for data validation and testing
- Experience with SQL and application of Python/PySpark
- Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
