Dental Office Manager / Receptionist

We are seeking a Dental Office Manager / Receptionist to join our friendly and family based practice. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative oversight and front desk responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic while supporting a high standard of patient care and service.

About the Role: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. This role requires a strong leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient service.

Key Responsibilities:Reception Duties:

• Greet and check in/out patients with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule appointments, recalls, and manage cancellations
• Handle insurance verifications, claims, and payments
• Manage phone lines and respond to inquiries
• Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of the schedule

Managerial Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the clinic and staff coordination
• Mentor and support team members to maintain performance and morale
• Monitor and improve workflow and protocols
• Manage supply inventory and vendor relationships
• Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Support tracking of clinic performance and reporting to the owner

Qualifications:

• Previous dental office experience is A MUST
• Experience with ABLEDENT is preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• A proactive mindset and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
