Now Hiring: Event Staff – VGCA Employee Day Activation
We’re looking for enthusiastic, professional, and engaging event staff to support an exciting full-day VGCA Employee Day activation! This high-profile event will feature fun, automotive-themed experiences celebrating VGCA employees, with executives from multiple automotive brands in attendance.
Location: 356 Porsche Drive, Pickering ON L1W 0B9
Activation Date: June 9, 2026
Shift Length: 8–10 hours
Training Date: Estimated June 4, 2026
Pay Rate: starting at $20
About The Role
This is a Brand Ambassador role focused on creating a welcoming and organized experience for VGCA employees throughout the event. We’re looking for adaptable team members who are friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with large groups. Interest in the automotive industry is a strong asset!
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activations and event flow
- Crowd management and employee ushering
- Employee registration and check-in
- Drivers licence inspection
- Supporting light setup duties
- Floating between positions as needed
- Creating a positive and welcoming environment for attendees
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic and professional individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging in small talk and guest interaction
- Able to follow instructions and pivot quickly when needed
- Comfortable standing and working long event hours
- Automotive industry interest/knowledge is a plus
