Position Overview: 

The Security Programs Manager (SPM) for healthcare holds responsibility for managing a diverse range of functions essential to the healthcare portfolio's success. A key aspect of this position involves close collaboration with the Client Service Manager (CSM) to effectively lead and support a large-scale team that operates within the healthcare portfolio. Furthermore, this role will assist in the strategic delegation of tasks and play a vital role in addressing client requests, particularly those that present a significant workload for the CSM due to healthcare's substantial size. This support ensures efficient operations and contributes to increased client satisfaction. The Security Programs Manager will regularly meet with the CSM and Director of Healthcare to ensure that all expectations are met. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and maintain an excellent internal relationship with the Director of Healthcare, Client Service Manager (CSM), Portfolio Resource Coordinators (PRC), Zone Supervisors and Healthcare Operations. 
2. Maintains a high level of dress and deportment. 
3. Efficiently acts as a central point for processing specific administrative tasks that require attention beyond Zone Supervisor but does not necessitate CSM authorization as needed. 
4. Oversees frontline second interviews for healthcare. 
5. Ensures all staff within his/her purview have adequate training in collaboration with the Zone supervisors and CSM based on healthcare standards, corporate and client standards. 
6. Provides motivational and mid-level disciplinary discussion with all staff assigned within the portfolio as needed. 
7. Ensure all sites are up to date and complete Site Orders both in hard copy on site and in digital format on the network server. 
8. Performs evaluations and approvals for assigned staff within the healthcare portfolio as needed and in accordance with company policies. 
9. Investigates and issues disciplinary action of Frist Written Warnings up to and including site ban and/or contract removal. 
10. Ensures compliance with OH&S Programs on site with all applicable regulations & coordination with CSM & Safety Officer. 
11. Provides and ensures compliance with Paladin's Lone Worker Program within the portfolio. 
12. Pulls compliance for annual reviews up to and including approvals. 
13. Ensures staff assignments and creates innovative solutions for client requests. 
14. Maintains Site Training and Employee Orientation Programs on-site are in place at all sites within the portfolio and ensure effective implementation in collaboration with Zone Supervisors & CSM. 
15. Develops and maintains appropriate recommendations made to the CSM so that the clients' security needs are met. 
16. Communicates appropriate information to Healthcare Operations/Zone Supervisors/CSM as needed to ensure that any outstanding issues are dealt with in a timely fashion. 
17. Actions employment withdrawals  
18. Monitors Incident Reports and takes appropriate action on the reports that are related to sites within the healthcare portfolio. 
19. Reports regularly to the Director of Healthcare/Client Service Manager on matters of company or client interest or significant events. 
20. Promotes Paladin's business in a professional and positive manner. 
21. Ensures that all services provided by staff assigned within the portfolio are delivered in accordance with the client's wishes and best interests, and in accordance with Paladin's Code of Ethics. 
22. Performs other duties as requested to assist with corporate and/or branch needs. 
23. Holds and maintains a valid security license & driver's license.
