A well‑established Western Canadian food distributor is seeking a Director of Sales to lead its sales organization and drive the next phase of growth. This role reports directly to ownership and oversees sales strategy, team leadership, customer development, and overall departmental performance.

A well‑established Western Canadian food distributor is seeking a Director of Sales to lead its sales organization and drive the next phase of growth. This role reports directly to ownership and oversees sales strategy, team leadership, customer development, and overall departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and develop a high‑performing sales team, leading weekly sales meetings
- Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Support major account negotiations and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new business across retail, foodservice, and wholesale
- Establish goals, KPIs and sales processes
- 10+ years of sales experience with leadership responsibility.
- Proven success developing people and driving measurable growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Experience in food distribution, grocery, foodservice, or CPG preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout Western Canada.
- Direct influence on company direction and growth.
- Lead an experienced team with autonomy and ownership support.
