The Job
As a Real Estate Law Clerk, you will be responsible for performing clerical work for the real estate team throughout the process of opening and closing files.
- Managing files from opening to closing
- Drafting and reviewing documents related to transactions and closing
- Collecting and summarizing deal information
- Conducting and reviewing title and off-title searches
- Communicating and interacting with clients with professionalism
- Maintaining and strengthening client relationships
- Preparing correspondence and requisition letters
- Assisting the real estate team with supporting clients
You will also come with:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a law clerk in real estate
- Proficient in Quebec residential closings
- Extensive experience with representing private lenders
- Strong, professional-level communication skills, written and verbal
- Able to organize time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Strong technical skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
