Job Responsibility:
Comsense Kitchen Cabinets is a cabinet company providing both custom cabinetry and refacing existing cabinetry.
We have locations in Nanaimo and Duncan, and a third opening soon in Port Alberni. and at this time we are looking for an experienced kitchen and bath cabinet designer in our Nanaimo Showroom.
Hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview.
This position could be available immediately for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with clients to discuss projects in showroom and "on site" appointments, when convenient for clients
- As primary contact, provide full experience for clients from start to finish. Discuss, measure, design, estimate and quote, order required material, and finalize project
- Advise on selection of colors, finishes, and materials
- Prepare plans and specifications for the final designs in accordance with current practices and codes
- Support a client-focused culture that delivers high levels of client satisfaction
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of kitchen and bath cabinet design experience
- Experience with customer service and sales
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS software and design software. KCD experience would be an asset but not required
- Able to work in a fact paced environment
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Reliable transportation
