Part-Time Medical Radiation Technologist Role
Bayshore Medical Personnel
Bayshore Medical Personnel is looking for a part-time Medical Radiation Technologist in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Provide essential X-ray imaging services, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment. This role typically requires 1 to 2 shifts weekly, each lasting 3 hours. The Medical Radiation Technologist will generate X-rays according to legal treatment orders while adhering to clinically acceptable standards. Close collaboration with the Chief(s) of Health Services ensures service coordination and effective feedback on equipment and safety concerns. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate X-rays for patient internal structure visualization
- Transfer images to portable media for transport
- Ensure compliance with community standards of practice
- Provide feedback on service needs and equipment issues
- Liaise with Health Services for quality improvement
- Active member of CAMRT-BC in good standing
- 2+ years of MRT experience with X-ray imaging
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination
- Commitment to safety and clinical standards
