Surgical Services Leadership Role

Enhance surgical care delivery as the Regional Medical Director and Department Head at Fraser Health. Drive quality, standardization, and safety in patient care while leading a dedicated team. This senior leadership position is integral to supporting surgical services across Fraser Health. You will hold accountability for departmental operations, quality monitoring, recruitment, and fostering a culture of excellence among Medical Staff, while collaborating with healthcare leaders to align strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standards for medical care and departmental practices
- Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with FH leadership for resource advocacy
- Mentor Medical Staff and support orientation processes
- Manage disputes involving Medical Staff effectively
- Eligible for FH Medical Staff membership
- At least five years of healthcare leadership experience
- A Master’s in health or business administration preferred
- Experience in managing operational planning and quality initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
