Senior Process Engineer - Packaging Baylis
Baylis Medical Technologies Inc.
Elevate medical device packaging at Baylis MedTech as a Senior Process Engineer. You'll design and optimize packaging solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 13485. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of medical device packaging solutions within a regulated environment. Your expertise will ensure product integrity and patient safety through the development of innovative packaging systems. Collaborating with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you will align packaging strategies with product design and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of packaging solutions
- Optimize material flows for WIP and finished goods
- Introduce and assess packaging materials and technologies
- Manage packaging verification and validation activities
- Conduct root cause analysis for packaging issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in regulated medical device packaging
- Proficient in CAD tools for packaging design
- Strong knowledge of packaging regulations like ISO 11607
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license required or pursuing eligibility
