What You'll Do
- Analyze and manage customs documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on customs requirements, tariff classifications, and trade programs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless import/export operations.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes in customs laws and international trade policies.
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and guiding their professional growth.
- Foster strong client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for complex customs matters.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance, with a solid understanding of international trade regulations.
- Industry-related certifications (CCS, CTCS, or equivalent professional status).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle complex shipments and navigate regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, government agencies, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Customs certifications or related qualifications are a plus.
