Director, Quality Assurance in Disability Services

Step into a key leadership role as Director, Quality Assurance in Disability Services at Medavie. This permanent position seeks an innovative leader to oversee quality standards and operations in Life & Disability Services. As the Director, you report to the Vice President and are responsible for maintaining effective governance and quality assurance across claims. You will also create Curated Care pathways and empower teams to deliver exceptional service through comprehensive training and quality frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop teams managing Life and Critical Illness cases
- Implement training strategies to support service excellence
- Establish Curated Care pathways and disability frameworks
- Ensure officials uphold quality standards across the board
- Drive strategic execution with technology and AI solutions
- Degree in healthcare, business, or similar
- Over 10 years in group insurance with a focus on disability management
- Strong mentorship abilities with senior leadership
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- English/French bilingualism is highly beneficial
