Senior Business Analyst - Trade Support

Position: Senior Business Analyst - Trade Support (Repo & Sec Lending Markets)
Location: Hybrid, 2x per week in office (Toronto, Downtown)
Structure : Contract, 4-6 months to start, then switch to full-time, permanent in 6-12 months
Pay: Up to $85.00 p/h inc.

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst in Front Office and Back Office teams
- Experience in gathering requirements for Front Office users
- Detailed understanding of the Repo and Sec Lending markets (Front Office, Settlements and Collateral Management)
- Ability to translate requirements from non-technical users to developers
- Ability to explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical users
- In depth knowledge of a Repo trading platform
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a global team split across several different locations and time zones
- Solid technical proficiency, including the ability to write scripts (e.g. Python or SQL) and perform data analysis, with practical experience using AI-powered tooling (such as Aiden/Copilot-style assistants) to accelerate scripting, query-writing, and root cause investigation
