Senior Academic Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary:

The Senior Academic Coordinator is responsible for managing, evaluating, and enhancing academic programs and processes. They work closely with faculty, staff, and students to support the delivery of high-quality education, ensure compliance with academic standards, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Program Management:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and review of academic programs.
• Collaborate with academic departments to ensure curriculum content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with institutional goals.
• Monitor program performance through data analysis, surveys, and feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Faculty and Staff Support:
• Provide guidance and support to faculty members regarding curriculum design, teaching methods, and assessment strategies.
• Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for academic staff.
• Help resolve academic issues and provide support for faculty and students.
• Student Support:
• Monitor student progress and assist in the development of strategies to enhance student performance and engagement.
• Serve as a point of contact for academic inquiries and concerns from students.
• Organize and participate in academic advising sessions, helping students with course selection, career planning, and academic challenges.
• Compliance and Accreditation:
• Ensure academic programs comply with internal policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for accreditation reviews, program evaluations, and institutional assessments.
• Curriculum Development and Enhancement:
• Lead initiatives for curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the review and update of syllabi, course materials, and teaching methodologies.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement new courses or programs based on student needs, market demands, or emerging academic trends.
• Administrative Duties:
• Prepare reports on academic performance and program effectiveness for senior management.
• Manage academic calendars, schedules, and other logistical aspects of program delivery.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for academic programs.
• Collaboration and Leadership:
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic academic goals.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within academic teams.
• Lead meetings and serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and administration.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Collect and analyze academic performance data, student feedback, and other metrics to assess program effectiveness.
• Use data to inform decisions regarding curriculum adjustments, teaching strategies, and student support services.

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
