Expected Start Date: October 03, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Four Directions Community Health Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Home Nursing Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 8 hours shift Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job : Under the direction of the Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to urban and rural Home Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The home base for this position is 1504 Albert Street Regina. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
Education
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships
- Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community.
- Ability to work independently and as a leader of a multidisciplinary team
