Expected Start Date: September 19, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Brightwater Special Care Home City/Town: Regina Department: LTC Nursing Unit - Brightwater Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Stat Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job : Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and service is provided to residents/veterans on a given unit. As an experienced practitioner, the resident care coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care, and support and teaching to the resident care team (including residents and residents' families) within a collaborative environment. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum of three (3) years relevant long term care nursing experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Other Education and Training
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Competencies
