Mainframe Support Engineer Hybrid Role

Be a vital part of our team as a Mainframe Application Production Support Engineer in Toronto, adopting a hybrid work model. Manage applications, assess risks, and provide production support seamlessly. This role requires over 8 years of experience, focusing on application custodianship and incident management. You'll handle risk assessments, coordinate disaster recovery exercises, and provide crucial support through incident ticket analysis and resolution. Your collaboration with developers will enhance the production environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee application custodianship and problem record closures
- Conduct risk assessments and manage updates for the Risk team
- Handle production mailbox reviews and triage incident tickets
- Support production inquiries and update client details
- Manage approval processes for deployments and documentation
- 8-10 years of experience in a relevant field
- Profound knowledge of mainframe applications and operations
- Proficient in using Postman and API technologies
- Strong documentation skills and coordination abilities
- Experience with BMM support and compatibility testing
