Are you a hands-on technologist who loves solving real mechanical problems — not sitting behind a desk doing the same thing every day? At ZCS, Ontario's machine and functional safety experts, you'll be out in the field working alongside experienced mechanical and electrical engineers on a diverse range of industrial projects, from robotic systems and automated conveyors to custom machine guarding for automotive and aerospace clients.

What You'll Work On
• Machine guarding and industrial safety upgrade projects across multiple industries
• Concept development, layouts, and detailed SolidWorks designs
• Sheet metal guards, brackets, panels, and retrofit assemblies
• Fabrication drawings coordinated with laser cutting and fabrication vendors
• Site visits, field measurements, and equipment assessments
• Installation and commissioning support alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team
What We're Looking For
• Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma (or equivalent)
• Hands-on SolidWorks experience
• Solid background designing sheet metal components and assemblies
• Comfort working in industrial and manufacturing environments
• A practical, problem-solving mindset — you like to figure things out
Bonus points if you have exposure to machine guarding, robotics, automation, conveyors, cranes, or CSA/ISO/ANSI safety standards.
