Join RVA's Land Development team as an Engineering Technologist specializing in Civil3D drafting. Your focus will be on producing and managing detailed CAD drawings for land development projects. RVA is actively seeking an Engineering Technologist with expertise in Civil3D. This role encompasses preparing site plans, designing grading plans, and managing municipal servicing designs. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills in CAD standards and a foundational understanding of civil engineering principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed site and grading plans for projects
- Develop digital terrain models from survey data
- Create pipe network layouts and profiles in Civil3D
- Incorporate revisions from senior engineers onto designs
- Assist in functional servicing and stormwater reports
- Graduate of accredited civil engineering diploma program
- 0-7 years of experience in engineering
- Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
