WSP Environmental Remediation Specialist

Join the forefront of environmental impact by becoming an Environmental Remediation Specialist at WSP. Manage contaminated site projects by designing investigations and overseeing effective remediation efforts. Based in Kingston, Toronto, London, or Ottawa, you'll work within WSP’s established RPM team, known for tackling significant challenges in site management. Your role will encompass fieldwork oversight, client relationship management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare health and safety and emergency plans for projects
• Lead scheduling efforts for contractors and field staff
• Draft detailed technical reports with project conclusions
• Ensure compliance with Ontario's environmental regulations
• Mentor and train junior environmental scientists

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering
• 8+ years of experience in site assessments
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Financial acumen for project management
• Expertise in Phase I/II assessments and remediation techniques
