Role Description
This is a remote role for an Associate - Corporate Governance, Legal/Compliance. The associate will handle the preparation of legal documents, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, assist in matters of corporate governance, provide legal research and analysis, and support communication of legal implications to cross-functional teams. The role will involve monitoring and managing legal and compliance-related issues, reviewing policies, and maintaining accurate documentation for public company needs.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Law and Legal Issues
- Proficient in Legal Document Preparation and ensuring compliance
- Excellent Analytical Skills for identifying and solving complex legal and governance matters
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain legal concepts clearly
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field
- Experience in corporate governance, securities law, or public company compliance is a huge plus
