Our business law firm, located across from Sherway Gardens, is hiring a Corporate Law Clerk.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9-5 or 9:30-5:30, depending on candidate’s preference. Option to work from home (subject to confidentiality requirements being met) one day per week after a three-month probationary period is completed.
Remuneration
Salary: $ 65,000.00+ per year (estimated) made up of a Base Salary of $ 47,000.00 plus 40% commission of billings.

What we are looking for
We require a Law Clerk with at least two years of corporate experience, an attention to detail, a strong sense of initiative, and enjoys working collaboratively. We prefer applicants to have previous experience with Wills & Estates, and be ILCO certified, although these are not requirements. Applicants must possess professional-level English to be considered.

The work is fun too. Our clients range from Owner Operated Businesses to Multi-Nationals with issues that are challenging and not repetitive.
We're not a normal law firm and that's a good thing because normal is boring, and who wants to work in a boring law firm?
The Job
Day to Day tasks will include:
- Maintaining and updating corporate Minute Books
- Preparation and filing of corporate constating documents, i.e. articles of incorporation
- Preparing registrations and renewals of Business Names
- Preparing corporate documents with respect to share/asset transactions
- Conducting due diligence searches
- Preparing estate planning documents with estate software
- Familiarity with Microsoft office, corporate and estate software and the Ontario Business Registry
- Transcribing Dictation
