Vice President of Information Technology

Job Responsibility:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

? Provide leadership and direction for the infrastructure, support, cybersecurity and development

? Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the Lullaboo's overall objectives and ensure IT initiatives support business priorities.

? Partner with management and IT teams to develop business cases for implementing technology solutions to meet business needs.

? Monitor, assess and conduct post implementation reviews in IT development & software project work to identify issues and risks to technology implementation or benefit realization.

? Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and data protection laws to ensure business continuity.

? Lead and manage technology projects, from planning and budgeting to successful execution

? Continuously evolve the team structure as needed to support the company's growth, including Product Ownership, Business Analysis, UX Design, Development, QA, Scrum and Project Management.

? Manage procurement, licensing, provisioning, and administration of all major software systems needed to run the business.

? Provide leadership and vision, and maintain a high-level of employee morale and motivation, with a view to ensuring the implementation of Lullaboo strategy.

? Manage the Corp IT budget and all the annual planning required to build a roadmap and backlog of work in tight collaboration with the finance team..

? Manage Vendor Relationships, hold quarterly business reviews with key business stakeholders, and negotiate contracts with procurement

? Lead the integration of innovative IT solutions to improve childcare operations in a technically diverse environment.

? Accountable for leading Incident, Problem, Knowledge & Request Management processes and leading day-to-day issues including incident resolution and root cause analysis/reporting.

? Monitor employee systems to ensure compliance with security policies

Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, engineering).

? College Diploma and or University Degree within related fields.

? Strong knowledge of technology trends, software development methodologies, and cybersecurity.

? Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

? Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

? 10+ years of experience leading a team of IT professionals responsible for process optimization, automation, digital transformation, and cloud migration initiatives; exceptional leadership skills.

? Expertise in IT operations including ITIL/ITSM processes and associated systems ,ITIL certification is a plus.

? Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (within the last six months)

? Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

? Minimum 5 Years' experience as IT management and leadership role

? Ontario Secondary School

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
