We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist for our Documentum customer support team in Alpharetta, Georgia. YOUR IMPACT As Senior Technical Support Specialist for our Output Server product, you will handle complex cases for our customers in a B2B environment. This support role requires a solid knowledge of technology used by OpenText Output Server including Windows Server, Linux, Networking, Network Printers, Databases, Application servers, Kubernetes and cloud technologies. Working knowledge of OpenText Output Server is an asset. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS Working with customers and colleagues to solve Output Server and technology related software problems in an B2B environment. A typical day:

• Work with customers on cases using Teams for troubleshooting delivering customer service and solutions to business problems.
• Collaborate with team members to help each other solve support cases.
• Configure VMware images to replicate customer environments for problem investigation and resolution.
• Review cases and coach team members in problem identification, scoping, understanding, and expectation setting.
• Create and review technical documents for our knowledge base.
• Develop and grow your skills and share your knowledge with team members through brown bags and knowledge transfers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Understanding of Output Server or other print management software is an asset.
• Solid understanding of OS System Administration (Windows Server and Linux) and networking.
• Experience with database administration and performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
• Working knowledge of J2EE technologies. This includes an understanding of web application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WildFly, etc.), Web services frameworks, and Java programming.
• Experience working with network printers and print queues.
• Understanding of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to understand and use various scripting and programming languages and technologies is a plus (Java, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in an event-driven environment.
• 4-6 years' experience as a Technical Support professional
• As a 24x7x365 organization, shift work, holidays and on-call responsibilities may be required.
