Product Owner for Data at Air Canada
AIR CANADA
Drive impactful data products with Air Canada as a Product Owner specializing in data assets. Engage with stakeholders and lead data initiatives within Loyalty, Marketing, and eCommerce domains. This role reports to the Head of Data Product Management. As a Product Owner in data and artificial intelligence, you will manage product backlogs, facilitate Agile sessions, and ensure the delivery of valuable data products. Your focus will be on aligning user needs with strategic objectives using the latest technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile sessions to gather and assess stakeholder needs
- Link users and data delivery teams for effective collaboration
- Write and present user stories to the development team
- Support the delivery team with day-to-day requirements clarifications
- Coordinate acceptance testing and lead SCRUM ceremonies
- Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years in product ownership or analysis
- Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Agile methodology practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and strategic mindset
