Your role as Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Data Analyst, to own and evolve the data products that power Dialogue’s client‑facing reports and to join a dedicated team that translates requirements from a large partner into capabilities built directly into the Dialogue platform. In this role, you will work across the data stack to transform client and partner needs into scalable analytics features that clearly demonstrate Dialogue’s value, impact, and outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Write complex, performant SQL queries and design scalable, production‑grade data models
• Design, build, and maintain robust data models using modern analytics engineering workflows and orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow)
• Implement strong data quality tests, monitoring, and automation to ensure accuracy and reliability of client‑facing metrics
• Translate business logic and client requirements into well‑defined KPIs and metrics
• Build, own, and evolve client reporting data products, enabling self‑serve analytics and actionable insights for customers
• Partner closely with GTM, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to turn client and partner feedback into shipped reporting features
• Identify data gaps, define clear data requirements, and improve underlying data capture and modeling
• Turn complex datasets into clear, insightful narratives that support both internal decision‑making and client understanding

We’d love to hear from you if you have

• Advanced SQL proficiency — comfortable writing complex, optimised queries and thinking in sets; able to structure logic that others can read, maintain, and build on
• Hands‑on experience with dbt — writing models, tests, and documentation across staging, intermediate, and mart layers; understanding of how good modelling decisions downstream affect every consumer of the data
• Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts — experience working in Snowflake or a comparable modern warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift), including how to think about performance, grain, and data organisation
• Fluency in turning business requirements into well‑structured data models — able to move from a vague analytical need to a clean, reusable model without losing the nuance along the way
• Proven experience designing and shipping dashboards — not just building charts, but translating requirements into clear visual logic: choosing the right chart type, structuring the layout for the audience, and knowing when less is more
• Strong communicator across technical and non‑technical contexts — able to challenge a poorly scoped requirement, push back on a misleading metric, and explain a data model to a stakeholder who has never opened a SQL editor
