Senior Tax Accountant International Compliance

Own international tax compliance remotely from Ontario, using public accounting expertise, IFRS knowledge, and strong external advisor management.

As Senior Accountant, you report directly to the CFO within a growing consumer goods company operating across global entities. You will manage tax engagements, review advisor work, and connect accounting records with international tax requirements. The role combines tax and compliance with accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage external tax accountants across Canadian and international entities
• Review corporate returns, filings, and tax workpapers
• Maintain compliance calendars for tax and foreign reporting
• Coordinate transfer pricing, withholding tax, and treaty matters
• Prepare close entries, reconciliations, and IFRS reporting support

Requirements:

• CPA designation and bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Three to seven years in small or mid-sized public accounting
• Hands-on T2 preparation or review experience
• Compilation or review engagement experience
• Strong Excel, ERP, month-end close, and report-pulling skills
