Survey Manager for Heavy Civil Projects

Lead geomatics operations with Aecon as a Survey Manager on a significant heavy civil infrastructure project in Fredericton, NB. Oversee survey activities, ensure quality data management, and collaborate with construction teams. The Survey Manager position requires 10+ years of progressive experience in surveying for large civil infrastructure projects. You will lead the survey team, establish and maintain control networks, and manage as-built reporting. Your leadership will ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications throughout the construction phases. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor the survey team for project execution
• Plan and coordinate survey activities for dam project
• Establish control networks using KRT/RTK GPS systems
• Support construction layout with accurate digital survey data
• Manage drone flights for progress monitoring and reporting Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of surveying experience
• Degree in Geomatics or related discipline preferable
• Proven experience in a management role on civil projects
• Strong skills in GPS systems and drone data usage
• Excellent leadership and organizational capabilities Utilize your surveying expertise to ensure successful project execution while fostering safety and quality at Aecon.
