Position Overview: Capsule Pharmacy is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Packing Coordination Team Member. In this role, you will work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of medications to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing medication deliveries, scheduling deliveries, coordinating shipments with couriers, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
Delivery Preparation: Assist in preparing medication deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
Delivery Scheduling: Work closely with the Logistics Manager to schedule medication deliveries, optimizing routes and delivery times for maximum efficiency.
Courier Coordination: Collaborate with courier services to organize and coordinate the timely shipment of medications, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.
Shipping Coordination: Facilitate the shipping process of medications, including documentation, labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, deliveries, and shipments. Generate reports as needed for management review.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on medications and packaging to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams, couriers, and other stakeholders to address any issues and ensure a seamless logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and logistics software.
