General Manager North Saskatchewan Agriculture

Lead Nutrien Ag Solutions remotely across North Saskatchewan, combining agricultural expertise, branch operations, and financial management. Shape safe, profitable division performance.
As General Manager, you will direct the division’s daily operations and guide its growth, efficiency, and profitability. This mid-senior leadership role requires agricultural product knowledge, branch management expertise, financial statement understanding, and farm supply marketing experience. You will lead managerial staff, oversee human resources, and maintain customer-focused service for farmers. The position supports Nutrien’s purpose of Feeding the Future through responsible, cost-effective operations and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily division operations for efficiency and profitability
- Develop budgets, monitor deviations, and initiate corrective action
- Review sales forecasts and operational objectives regularly
- Lead hiring, performance management, coaching, and employee relations
- Promote Nutrien products across all division branches
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in agronomy or related field
- 15 or more years of relevant work experience
- 10 or more years in leadership, supervision, or mentoring
- Five or more years in successful farm supply marketing
- Extensive vehicle travel and required pre-employment screening
