Director of Business Development

About the Role

As part of our expansion in the municipal, industrial, and defense markets, Rezilio is seeking a Director of Business Development.

This role focuses on strategic prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-value agreements.

This role is part of a consultative sales approach, where understanding the challenges, providing high-quality support, and creating value take precedence over a transactional approach. As the new Director of Business Development joining our agile structure, you will act as a trusted partner, guiding high-level decision-makers from operational status quo to our intelligent solutions, helping them structure and strengthen their resilience in the face of risks and crises.

  • Sales Model: Consultative and value-based selling, long sales cycles, and multi-stakeholder approach

Your Main Responsibilities

• • 1. Prospecting: Targeting and Developing municipal, institutional, industrial, and defense accounts by building strategic relationships.
    2. Diagnosis: Evaluate client challenges and challenge the status quo.
    3. Demonstration: Lead customized demonstrations of the Rezilio platform, aligning IT and field needs.
    4. Negotiation: Structure high-value (ROI) offers and conduct negotiations.
    5. Closing: Secure long-term contracts and ensure a smooth transition to Client Success.
    6. Strategy: Contribute to the evolution of the offering and share market trends with management.

Desired Profile

Technical Qualifications:

• • • B2B/B2G SaaS Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Sales of software solutions, ideally to the public or institutional sector, in risk management or security.
    • Business acumen: Demonstrated ability to present ROI arguments to executive committees.
    • Technical skills: Comfortable with the cloud ecosystem, corporate cybersecurity requirements, and optimal use of CRM tools.
    • Bilingualism: Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written. The majority of business development will take place outside of Quebec.
