EIPS is recruiting a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Division 2 (Grade 5) French Immersion Teacher at École Parc Élémentaire.
École Parc Élémentaire serves approximately 285 students in kindergarten to Grade 6,
with 19 teaching staff and 16 support staff. The school is located in Fort
Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometers north of Sherwood Park, AB.
École Parc Élémentaire offers single-track, French Immersion
programming. The school is a diverse French Immersion learning community that
inspires a love of learning, encourages student individuality and promotes
global citizenship in a safe, caring and enriched environment. The school values
the importance of strong learning partnerships among students, teachers,
parents and the community while wanting each student to be successful to their
greatest capacity. École Parc Élémentaire is also a designated
Play And Learn at School (PALS) pre-kindergarten site within the Division.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
- Excellent French verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
