Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Intermediate Law Clerk to join our Sexual Abuse Department. In this role, you will support litigation matters involving survivors of sexual abuse across Canada and contribute to work that has a lasting impact on the lives of our clients.

The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a law clerk with 0–5 years of law clerk experience, preferably in personal injury law , who is looking to develop their skills within a collaborative and supportive environment. As a member of our close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to client matters while pursuing professional growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Request, obtain, and organize records and documentation from healthcare providers, educational institutions, employers, and government agencies.
• Review, summarize, and prepare document briefs for litigation files.
• Communicate with clients, third parties, and service providers by telephone, email, and written correspondence.
• Open, maintain, and organize client files.
• Perform scanning, indexing, and document management using Primafact.
• Assist lawyers and team members with file administration and litigation support as required.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of law clerk experience, preferably in personal injury law.
• Diploma from an accredited Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primafact.
• Working knowledge of PCLaw is considered an asset.
