The Role
We are looking for a creative, community-minded Social Media Coordinator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. This role is built for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands how platforms grow, and knows how to translate brand values into content that connects. You will be responsible for publishing content, managing community engagement, and leveraging tools like ManyChat to keep our audience engaged and growing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
• Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across all channels; respond in a timely, on-brand manner
• Actively engage with the community to foster connection, encourage conversation, and support audience growth
• Assist with community growth strategies including engagement outreach, hashtag research, and participation in relevant conversations
• Track basic social metrics and flag performance trends to the team
• Stay current on platform algorithm changes, new features, and content trends
ManyChat Automations
• Build and manage ManyChat automation flows for Instagram and Facebook (comment triggers, DM sequences, lead capture)
• Set up and maintain keyword triggers and reply flows that align with active campaigns and promotions
• Monitor automation performance and adjust flows based on engagement data
• Collaborate with the team to integrate ManyChat into content strategy and campaign rollouts
Community Growth
• Implement strategies to grow our following organically across all managed platforms
• Identify opportunities for engagement within relevant communities, hashtags, and partner audiences
• Support influencer and brand collaboration campaigns from a social media execution standpoint
• Help maintain the content calendar and ensure deadlines are met across all social channels
What We Are Looking ForRequired
• 2+ years of experience in a social media, community management, or digital marketing role
• Confident across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Hands-on experience with ManyChat or a comparable chat automation platform
• Strong written communication skills with an eye for grammar, tone, and brand voice
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing deadlines independently in a remote environment
• Based in Canada with reliable internet access and availability during core business hours
Nice to Have
• Experience in the wellness, health, or CPG (consumer packaged goods) space
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools
• Basic video editing skills for Reels or short-form content
• Passion for functional mushrooms, adaptogens, or holistic wellness
