Digital Marketing Program Coordinator will be responsible for successful academic delivery, and student satisfaction while setting the highest study and work experience standards for the Digital Marketing Program offered by Tamwood Careers in Canada. This position is customer-facing and requires someone who goes above and beyond for customers.

This job is offered in either a part-time (Program Coordinator only) or Full-time (Program Coordinator and teaching) configuration depending on what suits the applicant.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with curriculum design, when needed, and ensure full implementation of new curriculum or modifications to it.
• Organize, maintain, and provide supplementary materials and resources to instructors, as needed.
• Recruit and train College Instructors on Tamwood policies, procedures, and overall operations; and provide them with ongoing academic and administrative support.
• Support Tamwood Instructors with course administration in the LMS system (Moodle)
• Receive sick calls and substitute teachers or arrange class coverage, as necessary.
• Manage and respond to escalated instructor issues; accurately document and report any issues to the management team.
• Collect, summarize, and report feedback received from instructors, students and staff to management team and work collaboratively to identify solutions to identified issues to ensure continual growth of the organization.
• Be able to teach, mentor, and guide the students.
• Organizing guest speakers for Vancouver and Toronto students.
• Cooperating and meeting regularly with the co-op placement/community relations team
• Collaborating with Faculty to guide, design, develop, and manage high-value Capstone projects for students.
• Carrying out other administrative-related duties of a program coordinator as required.

Qualifications:

• Have a degree or diploma in Digital Marketing or any other related field.
• A minimum of 2 years successful managing or leadership experience, ideally, in a similar role and/or environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Digital Marketing, employment or self-employment history, project management, lead, and supervisory experience.
• Have demonstrated teaching and presentation skills.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
• Experience working with complex schedules.
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills.
• Be outgoing and empathetic, placing a high value on positive customer experience.
• Be a highly energetic and passionate individual who can create a professionally positive impact on students.
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including strong negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
• The ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment where decisions and actions need to happen quickly and professionally.
• The ability to identify problems, implement independent immediate solutions and create alternative solutions when needed.
• The ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

Work hours

• Work schedule can be discussed at the time of the interview to try and find an optimized schedule but in general:
• Part-time option: Monday to Thursday evenings to support students and teachers in class
• Full-time option: Monday to Thursday - 1.30 pm to 9.00 pm
