Sustainability and Marketing Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

Golden Properties is a boutique family-owned property management company, located west of Thurlow on West Hastings Street. We maintain a sterling reputation for providing high-quality professional services to our tenants with a personal touch.

We are looking for a self-motivated self starter with ample office experience to join our team.

The Sustainability and Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Property Management and Building Operations team to continue our company's sustainability journey.

Sustainability:

• Organize and implement all tenant sustainability initiatives e.g ZeroWaste, Sustainability Day
• Develop and inspire Green Leader engagement and participation through quarterly meetings/idea-sessions
• Responsible for collecting and updating all sustainability data and reporting including Waste Diversion data on a quarterly basis
• Facilitate individual tenant drop-offs and bulk vendee pick-ups of established recycling streams
• Research and review of sustainable building energy, smart building and wellness certifications
• Application and coordination for approved certifications such as BOMA
• Utilities review and reporting with engineering and office team
• Development of an ESG report, and subsequent internal and external reporting
• Work continuously towards improved energy performance with efforts to reduce energy and water consumption

Projects:

• Review contract work and report any discrepancies to Junior Property Manager
• Data collection and analysis for various projects and day-to-day operation
• Assist in the launch of our operations and tenants Dashboard and building automation software (BAS) alongside Operations Manager
• Support the Management team in various projects and day-to-day assignments

Marketing:

• Keep up Golden Properties' LinkedIn activity, sharing, and engagement on relevant news
• Maintain monthly Sustainability Newsletter updating tenants on Golden Properties goings on, regional and global sustainable news & initiatives, and local events
• Development of Golden Properties' brand and website copy including leasing materials

Office Admin:

• Organize and host tenant and internal events, meetings, celebrations and parties
• Front desk back-up coverage when required
• General office admin
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Proven experience in sustainability and/or marketing, with a passion to learn
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed marketing decisions
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems for website creation and maintenance
• Minimum 3 years experience working in an office environment

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
