Unit Supervisor Role with Impact

Become a Unit Supervisor with Winnipeg Child and Family Services and drive essential family support initiatives. Winnipeg Child and Family Services is looking for a Unit Supervisor dedicated to enhancing family services and child protection. You will manage resources effectively and lead teams committed to the welfare of children. Your responsibilities will include policy interpretation and case management services, requiring strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in child welfare services
- Manage casework and service delivery for diverse families
- Supervise and develop staff competencies
- Ensure effective use of human and financial resources
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance services
- Degree in social sciences is essential (BSW, MSW preferred)
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Proven case management experience
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
