Senior Technical Consultant (Canada)

Optis Consulting is
actively seeking a <\/span> Senior Technical Consultant <\/span> to join their <\/span> London team <\/span> . <\/span> Working closely with the Project Manager, the
Senior Technical Consultant will serve as the first point of contact between
technical clients integrating our partners’ solutions (SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP,
Celonis and/or Ivalua) with their ERP and/or other internal and 3rd party
systems. <\/span> The Technical Consultant will
be responsible for developing technology solutions and mapping Optis customers’
business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in
line with the enterprise architectural plan. <\/span> As a Technical Consultant, you will provide input to the strategic
direction of technology investments to assist Optis customers in the
development of the enterprise architecture and maximize their return on
technology investment. <\/span><\/span>

RESPONSIBILITIES <\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Will be responsible to develop solutions for clients using service -oriented
architecture patterns.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Manage and implement an API -led strategy to connect data and
applications with APIs.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Define and gather requirements and conduct design sessions
for technical solutions.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Own complete lifecycle of delivery including architecture,
design, development, test, and documentation of integration, custom
development, and data migration solutions for business applications in the SaaS
and other ERP systems
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Responsible for defining and documenting Integration
architecture, capturing, and documenting non -functional (architectural)
requirements, preparing estimates, and defining technical solutions
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Estimate the tasks and resources required to design, build,
and test the code.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Develop new code or existing code for solution
development/enhancement.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Maintain a sharp focus on system reliability and ensure
overall solution architecture can gracefully handle upstream and downstream
system failures.
<\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Provide in -depth expertise in the discipline of integration
architecture, data sources, security, technical design, programming, testing,
and deployment. <\/span>

<\/p>

REQUIREMENTS
<\/span><\/b><\/span>• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science or equivalent preferred. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Proficient in developing
integrations with Web Services, XML, JSON, SQL and or other integration technologies
are mandatory. <\/span>
<\/div>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience facilitating
application integration architecture discussions and workshops. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Proven experience in developing
integrations using REST API, SOAP Web Services and other integration
architectures. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with SAP Ariba <\/span> , Coupa, GEP, Celonis
and/or Ivalua Procurement solutions is mandatory. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Additional experience using
other ETL tools is preferred. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Should have 5+ years of
experience as an Integration Architect or Lead Technical Architect capacity in
an Agile/ Hybrid development environment for transformational programs in the Source -to -Pay
programs or equivalent <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Proven skills as a team member,
team lead or project manager on at least three full life cycle implementation <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Functional knowledge of Procurement business processes. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Technical aptitude and comfort in understanding web -based
applications and the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Cloud models, and Integration concepts
as well as application of these technologies in the enterprise environment. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple
simultaneous projects. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Excellent written and verbal communication skills. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience presenting a clear and concise technical
narrative. <\/span>
<\/p>

• <\/span><\/span><\/span> ERP Knowledge – SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE or others is
preferred. <\/span>
