Wire Harness Design Engineer Role

Join as a Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer, focusing on vehicle electrical systems. Lead end-to-end design, validation, and documentation tasks in a fully onsite position. As a Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer, you will oversee the creation of 3D models, ensure documentation aligns with master models, and support cross-functional activities. This role requires a minimum of three years in transportation wiring design and excellent communication skills to present project reports effectively while contributing to vehicle launches and component compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead creation of 3D models and 2D drawings
- Ensure drawings match master models and standards
- Author and validate engineering documentation
- Conduct First Piece Sign-Off and PSO support
- Manage GIMs entries and corrective actions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years in wiring design and release
- 4+ years overall engineering experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication skills in reporting
