Candidates must demonstrate expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement documents, including complex contracts and compliance issues. This position offers the chance to work with diverse clients while maintaining control over your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review various construction-related agreements
- Negotiate stipulated price and cost-plus contracts
- Handle lien payments and bonding issues
- Address compliance disputes and contractual requirements
- Provide legal support to a diverse client base
Requirements:
- Experience in construction law is essential
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Solid negotiation skills and document drafting experience
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Familiarity with CCDC contracts and financing issues
