Techso is growing! We are looking for a motivated Splunk Administrator to contribute to SIEM initiatives and support our clients in complex technological environments.
To excel in this role, you should :
- Be mobile within the Montreal area to meet with clients as needed.
- Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as these languages are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients, both in Quebec and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Splunk environments (Enterprise, ES, ITSI, etc.).
- Design, develop, and optimize dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Participate in the architecture, deployment, and optimization of SIEM solutions.
- Ensure platform performance, upgrades, and security.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to support event analysis and investigations.
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to automation efforts and integrate Splunk with other security tools.
- Implement and manage network security controls (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
- Monitor network traffic to detect anomalies and support incident response.
- Perform basic administration of network environments (switches, routers, secure access).
- Participate in the development and improvement of information security policies.
Skills & Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Splunk administration and configuration (Enterprise, ES, ITSI).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM projects (design, deployment, optimization).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, log management, and incident detection.
- Practical experience in network administration (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, routing/switching).
- Experience managing Linux/Windows systems.
- Asset: scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on client projects.
