Surrey Cardiac Rhythm Devices Specialist

Join the dedicated team at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Casual Cardiac Rhythm Devices Technologist. This role focuses on pacemaker programming and quality patient assessments in a dynamic healthcare environment. As part of the cardiology team, you will be responsible for performing detailed pacemaker analysis, assisting in implantation surgeries, and conducting various diagnostic tests like ECG and Holter monitoring. Your role will also involve collaborating with physicians to analyze data and maintain high-quality standards in patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze pacemaker functions and set optimal parameters
- Assist surgeons during device implant procedures
- Perform and assess ECG and Holter tests
- Generate interpretations and reports for cardiologists
- Maintain pacemaker testing equipment and monitor supplies
- Diploma in Cardiology Technology plus specialization exam
- Certified by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
- At least two years of recent experience
- Strong organizational and communication capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting
