Take on a challenging role as a Senior Python Developer in Calgary, AB, focusing on backend development and cloud infrastructure. This contract position spans one year and demands a high level of expertise. We are searching for a seasoned developer with at least 8 years in Python-focused software development, particularly with backend services and advanced data workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable APIs, managing cloud resources on AWS, and implementing DevOps practices to elevate code quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Design robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs and backend systems
- Optimize data workflows through automation and pipeline architecture
- Deploy and manage solutions in AWS cloud environments
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for code delivery
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate and secure development processes
- Minimum of 8 years in professional Python development
- Strong command of frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI
- Experience in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code
- Proficient in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledgeable in AI-driven development accelerators
