Senior Insurance Advisor

Location: Milton, Ontario. Westland Insurance Group Ltd is seeking an experienced insurance advisor to promote and educate clients on insurance products, manage client relationships, and support branch growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes, handling complex cases accurately.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive support, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow-up communication.
• Identify sales opportunities, cross‑sell and up‑sell products to contribute to business growth.
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong client relationship building skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Insurance broker level 1 license or actively working toward CAIB/CIP (financial support provided).
• Minimum 6 months of industry experience.

Compensation

Pay range: $26.60 to $33.25 per hour based on a 35‑hour work week. Salary depends on qualifications and market conditions.
