Our clients are biotech and pharmaceutical companies across North America. We run company-wide AI programs month bymonth: training, platform setup, and working tools built with each department.This is a remote position with flexible hours. Candidates based in Canada or the United States are preferred.We are building a full-time delivery team of people from the industry who use AI every day.This role joins that team, reporting to our Head of Delivery.**What you will do*** Lead the research and preclinical month of our programs at each client: map how scientists find, analyse and report their data today, measure the time it takes, and build AI workflows the team keeps using* Show chemists, biologists and preclinical scientists how to search internal files and the literature by target, disease, compound or endpoint with AI, with every answer traced to its source* Help build scientific knowledge platforms that connect sources such as Box, SharePoint, Benchling and the published literature, including how conflicting data and compound aliases are resolved* Build workflows for recurring scientific work: literature and competitive landscapes, assay and study summaries, report and slide preparation, sections feeding an IND* Build and teach training material in our Academy: workshops, guides and short videos* Answer client questions through our help desk and office hours, and keep the monthly scorecard current* Work alongside a network of senior specialists in regulatory, CMC, clinical, medical and data science**What you bring*** A PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmacology or a related field, followed by 3 to 8 years in drug discovery or preclinical development at a biotech, pharmaceutical company or CRO* Hands-on experience in one or more of: medicinal or computational chemistry, assay biology, protein or antibody science, DMPK, toxicology* Flawless written and spoken English* Daily use of AI tools in your own work, and clear views on where they fail* The ability to teach experienced scientists without talking down to them* Comfort with data: scripting in Python or R is an asset* Availability for some meetings on Eastern and Pacific time**What we offer*** Fully remote, with flexible hours* Salary CAD 95,000 to 115,000* Structured training on Claude, ChatGPT and agentic tools from the first week* Direct work with the founder, the Head of Delivery and senior industry specialists* Work that changes how drug discovery teams find and use what they already know
