Senior HVDC and FACTS Engineer Stantec

As a Senior HVDC and FACTS Project Engineer, you will join Stantec’s renowned HVDC Center of Excellence. This role requires deep knowledge in HVDC/FACTS design and the technical specifications needed for successful projects. Collaborate with clients on front-end design, oversee factory tests, and engage in business development while presenting technical insights to industry audiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform front-end engineering design for HVDC/FACTS
- Develop and evaluate technical specifications and tenders
- Review design submissions and conduct design assessments
- Witness factory tests and support commissioning processes
- Participate in industry technical committees and business development
- Extensive experience with HVDC/FACTS technologies
- Proficiency in preparing technical documents and evaluations
- Strong knowledge of related codes and standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel for project needs
