Risk Evaluator Specialist

Were seeking a Risk Evaluator Specialist to provide technical leadership in building valuation, loss prevention and risk evaluation. In this role, you will manage valuation and risk evaluation programs, support the development of Risk Evaluation staff, and provide specialized guidance to underwriters, adjusters, brokers and customers.

Have a strong understanding of building construction and are comfortable assessing properties, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions.
Are confident reading blueprints, interpreting building codes and working with technical information, while also being able to explain it in a clear, approachable way.

Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant trades or technical field such as Construction, or a defined equivalency, a Saskatchewan Building Official License, a Fireman Boiler Certificate, and 6 - 8 years of experience in building construction, inspection or estimating, with 2 years experience in facilitation and training. This role also requires possession of a valid Class 5 drivers licence.
