The Flying Pig Yaletown | Vancouver, BC The Flying Pig Yaletown is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Bartender/Server & Floor Supervisor .This is a leadership position for someone with a proven track record in high-volume, full-service restaurants. The successful candidate will be confident behind the bar, on the floor, and in a supervisory role, helping lead service while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of restaurant experience , including bartending and serving in busy, full-service establishments.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails , spirits, wine, and beer.
- Ability to prepare cocktails consistently and efficiently to a high standard.
- Experience supervising front-of-house teams and leading service shifts.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest relations, and service standards.
- Ability to open and close the restaurant independently , including cash handling, daily reporting, security procedures, and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Valid Serving It Right certification.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding food and beverage service.
- Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and consistency.
- Lead and support the front-of-house team during service.
- Assist with training and mentoring staff.
- Manage service flow and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Perform opening and closing manager duties.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards.
- Work collaboratively with management and kitchen teams to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
